A milestone for data security in care
We're proud to share that AIM Automations Ltd has completed the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) for 2025–26 with a result of "Standards Met".
The DSP Toolkit is an annual self-assessment, published by NHS England, that organisations use to demonstrate they are practising good data security and that personal information is handled correctly. Meeting the standards confirms that the way we store, process and protect data aligns with the expectations placed on organisations that work with health and care information.
What "Standards Met" means for you
For the care providers, staff, clients and families who rely on AIM every day, this assessment is independent reassurance that:
- Personal and sensitive data is handled in line with recognised NHS data-security standards
- We have the right policies, access controls and processes in place to keep information safe
- Data security is treated as an ongoing responsibility, reviewed and renewed each year
Assessment details
- Status: Standards Met
- Assessment: 2025–26 (version 8)
- Published: 29 June 2026
- Valid to: 30 June 2027
Part of a wider commitment to compliance
The DSP Toolkit sits alongside the other steps we take to protect your data:
- ICO registration: AIM Automations Ltd is registered as a data controller with the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (registration reference ZC041418).
- UK GDPR: We process personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently — with data minimisation, secure storage, defined retention periods, and full respect for individual data rights.
Security built in, not bolted on
AIM is designed around compliance from the ground up. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-based and authenticated, and every key action is captured in audit logs. Expiry reminders, incident reports and digital sign-offs are all part of the platform — because in care, good compliance should strengthen the service, not slow it down.
You can review all of our certifications, reference numbers and verification links on our Security & Compliance page.
